Organic Prickly Pear Oil, Virgin (Cactus Seed)
Prickly pear cacti, also called Barbary fig, nopal and opuntia, grow across parts of Central and South America, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean islands. The seeds come from the fruits and are the source of this oil. The oil yield from the seeds is very low (2.7 to 8.7%)which explains the cost of the oil.
