Drip Tape 1/2″ Barbed Fitting
The fitting you need to take drip tape runs off 1/2″ poly tubing. Screw down end inserts into drip tape and is locked in place by twisting the lock over the end of the tape. The opposite side is inserted into the poly tubing and held in place by the barbed end.
Drip tape must be used on low pressure (5-15 psi), achieved by installing a pressure regulator. Drip tape needs to be on flat runs (no greater than 3% if sloped) and no longer than single runs of 450 feet. The more level the ground and the shorter the run, the more even and uniform the water flow.
